Why is it Important to Get Medical Treatment After You’ve Been Involved in an Accident in Florida?

Attorney Eric Rosen

In this blog board certified civil trial lawyer, Eric Rosen discusses why it is important to get medical treatment after you’ve been injured in an accident.

What most people don’t realize is that after an accident you may not feel immediate pain at all even if you were injured by the accident and that is usually because the adrenaline is pumping. Sometimes it takes a few days before you feel any pain so it’s important to go to the doctor so they can make sure everything is okay and have all your injuries documented. Your health is the number one priority after an accident and should always be your health.

Having a doctor document, the injuries you acquired from the accident is also a very important piece of supporting evidence for when you file a claim. If a doctor hasn’t checked you out or documented any injuries from the accident, it would be hard to prove that you suffered any physical damage from the accident.

If you’ve been involved in a car accident, always make it your priority to go seek medical attention, document your injuries and check on the status of your health.
