Edon Saiyag

Edon Saiyag graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from Florida Gulf Coast University with a major in Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship and a minor in political science. Since then he has worked in both civil and criminal litigation.

Biography

Edon Saiyag graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from Florida Gulf Coast University with a major in Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship and a minor in political science. Since then he has worked in both civil and criminal litigation.

He has accumulated over 400+ hours of law-related community service hours in courtrooms scattered throughout the Tri-county area. He has interned alongside many assistant state attorneys in the felony division, he is a judicial internship under the Honorable Judge Phillips (Div. 26 – complex civil litigation) in the 17th circuit located in Broward county, Florida, he has been selected to become a part of a Judicial Intern academy for the summer of 2024 working alongside federal judges in the Southern District of Florida on various issues. He recently (July 2024) had the opportunity to argue a complex motion to dismiss before the Honorable Judge Beth Bloom in the Southern District of Florida on a catastrophic wrongful death case.

In his current position as a Law Clerk at Rosen Injury Law, he has the opportunity to demonstrate his knowledge, skills, and experience by assisting the office with drafting legal memoranda, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and examinations under oath, as well as participate in client interactions directly. Rosen Injury Law provides him with invaluable hands-on experience of what life as an attorney will be like in the near future. He is grateful for the experience and guidance Alex Litowsky and Eric Rosen have passed down to him while allowing him still to add his twist and fulfill his passion in Personal Injury.

This past year he successfully concluded his 1L year at NSU Shepard Broad College of Law. Throughout his first year in law school, he was able to compete and win the intramural (Dobson) closing argument competition and secure a spot on the NSU Board of Advocates. As a member on the Board of Advocates, he will be able to compete nationally against other accredited law schools his 2L and 3L year in both Mock Trials and Moot Court competitions. Additionally, he has received Teacher’s assistant and Research assistant opportunities from various professors to commence in the Fall semester of 2024. Finally, he ranked top 20% amongst his peers in their 1L class.
